Characters

• Zwasians are usually referred to with their first names. Last names are mostly used for clear identification. The last name is constructed using the parents' first names, arranged in alphabetical order. (They don't... they don't use the Latin script but let's pretend that this makes sense...) For example, Nikype's father is called Lorren and his mother is called Bextia. Thus, Nikype's last name is Bextia-Lorren.
• Roedusians and Macans have last names from either one of their parents. For example, Opera's last name Syskini is from one of her parents. (Not necessarily the father or mother) They are also often referred to with their first names.

Blazebirds are Anbrumians with some special mutations and traits. They have wings that can erupt from their back, a trait that gained them the name Blazebirds. Traits that are not as obvious include being more sensitive to sensations, particularly having more sensitive hair. This is not for all Blazebirds but is rather common. If not treated, the long hair can cause serious pain as it creates too many sensations. As treatment, hair is trimmed and a patch is attached to the body to control hair growth. This makes anbrum control a bit more difficult (see Background for some more explanations), but is necessary.

When agitated, Blazebirds might have a more extreme emotional reaction. This is more prevalent in anger and fear. During these moments, Blazebirds might have chattering teeth and might make a low and long rolled R sound.

[dance au] Born in South Zwasi, Nikype is an andro dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. He studied and teaches at the Zwasian Aesthetics and Finesse School, leading the Zwasian Dance Company.

Nikype has short hair due to him being a blazebird and having hair sensitivity issues. His hair is brown (a bit dark) and wavy.

Nikype choreographed many characters significant to the history of pointe and andro dancing. His most well known work is The Pink Princess and one of its variations, Chantilly.

His main dance partners are Opera, Eyran, and Bendin. At Zwasian A&F, he teaches mostly contemporary duo dancing.

He is married to Bella. They met in Zwasian A&F. [all good things au/non-war au] They have two daughters, Nina and Gabe.

Born in Roedus, Bella spent most of her childhood in Roedus. She moved to South Zwasi in her early adulthood to study at Zwasian A&F, eventually developing and working as a costume designer. She is also a seamstress.

Bella has dark red hair. The length of the hair is to a bit above her waist, though she likes to put her hair in a bun often.

She is married to Nikype and [all good things au/non-war au] together they have two daughters, Nina and Gabe.
