Universes and Headcannons

From when I was still in primary school, the daydreams that form the basis of what I think starting from secondary school (2018). I call this now the "1st canon".

In this,

• Nikype is a soldier, trained in... military school? Battle school? He fights with swords. Their goal is to... kill the bad guys I think. (I don't remember much, honestly.)
• Bella is an archer.
• Eyran is a super agile spy (think Black Widow from Marvel)
• These are pretty much the main characters.
• Nikype has a younger brother. Uh, I don't know his name... I forgor...
• Even since then, Nikype and Bella are a couple.
• [deriv] Nikype was (unfortunately) the son of an evil queen. Called the "Dark Queen". When he was young he was sometimes held captive by his mother. When Nikype is older he confronts his mother because she is still doing the evil and bad things and he needs to... kill her...? I don't remember thinking about killing her, really, I just remember the confrontation, and then... ?

In this,

• East Zwasian forces are looking to unfairly acquire anbrum resources. Although anbrum is accessible pretty much everywhere, there are some locations that have rich supplies of them, named anbrum reservoirs or nodes. An important anbrum reservoir is at the north of the mainland. Group of South Zwasians decide to fight the East Zwasians and stop the bad guys!!
• East Zwasians built a gigantic machine to extract anbrum.
• Nikype is either dance teacher or soldier (somewhat of a [deriv]). Either way he joins the army.
  
  [deriv] His parents were also in the army against East Zwasians, but were unsuccessful in fully stopping them.
  Nikype stops the machine by forcefully re-supplying anbrum to the ground.
• Nikype is a Blazebird (see other pages for more information). He was captured, had his wings forcibly cut off (term used by the blazebirds: "shredded").
• [deriv] In some sub-AUs, this did not happen as I thought this is way too cruel and gruesome.
• How did that work? He has a sword from his father. The sword is capable of absorbing large amounts of anbrum. Nikype pierces the ground near the machine with the sword, which creates a link - anbrum is able to flow from the machine, to the sword, then to Nikype. Nikype forcefully holds the high amount of anbrum, and then at once releases anbrum by fully pushing his sword into the ground. The amount of shock and energy destroys the machine and pushes anbrum back to the earth.
• [deriv] In some sub-AUs, this did not happen after shredding of the wings, as Nikype was already too injured after the abuse.
• Nikype suffers from severe anbrum pouch damage as a result. The damage from having shredded wings also added to the slowness of recovery. This makes the deterioration quicker and he dies at around 100 years old (most anbrumians live to 200-250)
• Bella is still an archer.
• Eyran is part of the group mainly as a defence, being able to create great shields and barriers and stuff.
• Bendin is introduced here mainly because I felt like I made too many girls. In here he's mostly a... filler character, honestly.
• The Commander leads the group of soldiers and he doesn't actually have a name other than being... the commander.
  [deriv] Or he is Bendin.
• After Nikype's injury, he is unable to have children with Bella, which makes him feel extremely guilty. Knowing that Bella really wishes to form a family.
  [deriv] He breaks down when someone yelled at him and accussed him of being selfish and not caring for Bella.
• [deriv] Opera is from Northernly Maca and Nikype's ex-girlfriend, they met in South Zwasi in school and were dating for quite a long while (almost about to get married) but then Northernly Maca went to war with East Zwasians, so Opera broke up with Nikype and went back to N. Maca. But during the trip to the north, the group meets Opera and a small group of N. Macans. They go through a short period of reconnecting before Opera is killed by East Zwasians during an attack.
• [deriv] Nikype and Bella's daughter (name not specified, but is related to Nina - I have had the image of Nina in my head for a while, but back then I had not come up with a name) is stubborn and insisted going to war with her parents. And then she died because she fell into lava.

The au I have a lot in mind currently (~2022 ~ at least late 2024).

In this,

• Nikype is a dancer and teaches dancing at the Zwasian Aesthetics and Finesse School (Zwasian A&F).
• He is what is called an andro dancer. The style that Nikype does is similar to ballet, typically there is a performer (usually with pointe shoes) and a supporter (no pointe shoes, mainly to support actions of the performer). Historically, performers were mostly women and supporters mostly men. However, some people does both roles. One distinction to be made: If they do both roles but without the element of gender expression, they are called a duo dancer. What an andro danceris, is that they also explore different gender expression along with dancing.
• He also does tap dancing and folk dancing.
• Bella went to South Zwasi to study. She started with studies in folk dancing, but eventually transitioned to studying clothing design. Now she designs and makes the costumes/dresses for dancers at the school's dance company.
• Eyran is one of Nikype's dance partners. Eyran is a performer dancer and so when they dance together, Nikype often takes on the role of supporter. However, there are also dances for double performer.
• Bendin is another one of Nikype's dance partners and he acts as Nikype's supporter. Bendin is trained in what is called the classics dance style while Nikype is trained in the contemporary dance style, but nonetheless they collaborate well.
• The differences between classics and contemporary is mainly about expression. Classics style emphasise small movements while contemporary style emphasises grand movements. But they are not distinct categories. Dancers often choose to specialise in one when they become more advanced dancers but their starting point is not that different.
• [deriv] applying war au: dance lessons are halted when the characters go to war.
• [deriv] applying all good things au: Opera studied at Zwasian A&F as well. After graduation she went back to N. Maca. Many years later Opera returns to Zwasian A&F to teach in the school. Finally Nikype gets an andro partner after years of teaching - it has been a long while.

It's mostly the dance au without terrible things. No war, no sad deaths, etc.
